I have recently upgraded to W7 home premium.

Since then I have been having a rather strange experience with downloading files, for example, when using Usenext, I can regularly download files at 20,000 kbits but after about 5 minutes the speeddrops down to about 800 kbits.

This also happens when downloading direct from a website.

Any ideas?

I am using a Belkin USB wireless to connect to my Virgin XL broadband. I never had the problem before with XP pro.

I should also mention that after a reboot, the same thing happens.

Have you contacted Virgin helpline they are usualy very helpfull

Didnt have a problem until i swapped over to W&, my laptop is downloading fine so i dont think it is the providers side of things.
