    Win7 Upgrade - Motherboard drivers

I bought a new machine over the summer that offered an upgrade to Win 7. I think I am ready to go ahead with the upgrade but am uncertain what to do abouit the motherboard drivers. After installing Win 7, is there anything I need to do about the motherboard drivers?

If your machine is that new, the current Vista drivers are probably close enough to get you going, then Windows 7 Windows Update will get any specific to Win7. But to be sure, run through the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor first.

On my computer the only MB drivers I would have had to install would have been for my integrated sound. I have a sound card so I didn't bother. 7 (as well as Vista) is able to use my ethernet without extra drivers that however might not be the same with all computers but I know that both 7 and Vista have more built in drivers than previous versions. I have also found that most of my Vista drivers did work on 7 with the exception being my sound card.
