    Re: Windows 7 Drivers

Did you install Windows 7 on the motherboard you are using?

    If not you need to.

You cannot just swap out hard drives like that.

Windows 7 needs to be fully installed on the motherboard that will run it.

You had said you installed 7 on another hard drive and then connected it to this computer.

My question was did you install 7 on this computer?

My point is you cannot move hard drives like that.

Unless you installed 7 on this motherboard you will have issues.

yes i have one computer both OS's (XP and 7) have been installed on this motherboard they are just on 2 different hard drives when i want to use 7 i just turn off my computer disconnect 1 hard drive and connect the other one then turn it back on. i know this works because ive done it with vista i just don't have vista because it slows down my computer and 7 is waaaaaay faster.

I would again suggest contacting your ISP.

I just changed out an old wired DSL modem for a wireless modem/router which required installation software.

Although it worked on XP and Vista it was not 7 ready. My ISP had to supply new software for me and so this is why I mention it.

    Can't hurt to call them.

Also in the future capital letters and proper punctuation make things a lot easier to read. Thanks.

You're an idiot! ok this is my last time explaining it to you if you ask me to contact my ISP I'm going to be really pissed!!! Also I am going to stop talking to you.
ok, once again my internet has absolutely nothing to do with this I am trying to find a LAN driver that supports Windows 7 it has NOTHING to do with my internet.... NOTHING!!!! All I am asking is, is there a way that my computer can read the Ethernet cord? If you don't know just say "i don't know". This will make things a lot easier!

You come to a free site and seek help from volunteers then call them names because they suggest something you don't want to hear? You were already told if there are no Win7 drivers, then there are no drivers. But that's not good enough for you - you want us to figure out a work around - yet you have not even bothered to provide any information about the hardware or how your connect! You were told why contacting your ISP might help with this problem, but you responded with insults. That will not be tolerated.

Who's being idiotic, rude and disrespectful? YOU. Now you get to live up to your username. You are now blacklisted from this site for 1 week for being uncouth.
