    Red face Strange things happen

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and have two strange things happen.
    1) If I leave the PC running and it goes into to hibernation when I wake it up I cannot recieve emails or get onto the internet and so have to reboot and all is fine.
2)Most frustraiting I have a Epson SX200 printer when I download the drivers from the Epson site they go on to install them I get a error message telling me they cannot install on my PC.

    Any one got any thoughts?

#1 - is it a desktop or laptop PC? Many desktop systems do not hibernate well.

#2 - Did you get the Windows 7 driver here: Epson Stylus SX200

    From your driver link
Operating system(s): Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, Windows 7 x86
In other words as of yet the driver is only for the 32-bit version. Perhaps they will release one for the 64-bit version later. As for the hibernation problem, no clue. The only thing I can think of is to either play around with the settings or run sfc [browse to command prompt, right click & run as admin & then sfc /scannow. What browsers or do you use a mail client (ie outlook)? Does this apply to any email account? What error messages if any?

Check your BIOS settings for your network card to ensure the it stays on. Some "green" settings cause it to power off, which causes the DHCP assignment to be withdrawn.

According to your signature you have windows 7 64 bit. x86 is another way of saying 32 bit which is why the drivers won't install. You'll just have to wait.
