Hi gang, I am having a problem getting on line with my new PC using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I am getting error message 651 but when I try to reset connection the PC tells me that I am already connected. I have done a reinstall of Windows 7 and after about an hour the same message comes up and lose conectivity to the internet and emails. Any idea's.

Problem solved, incerted the installation disc went for repair then System restore, restored to installation date. Rebooted removed System Machanic 9. Seems that on its registry fix it removes part of the registry which affects email and internet. DO NOT USE REGISTRY MECHANIC on Windows 7 until it has been fixed. I have reported problem to Iolo.

Just to let you all System Mechanic 9 has been updated and now works with both 64 and 86 editions of Windows 7 and works fine
