Don't know for sure but I have found nothing yet that won't run as long as it will run on XP or Vista.

Windows 7 appears to be very "accepting".

Scanners are a real problem with Vista and now Windows 7. Vendors refuse to write drivers for those OSes so you pretty much have to buy a new one.

I recently installed Suns VirtualBox and a Windows XP Pro guest and will try my scanner there. If that works that will be a viable option for me.

Well I contacted Iolo and the new System Mechanic 9 now is 64bit compatible and should not have a problem with Windows 7.

Do not use System Mechanic on Windows 7 64 bit(dont know about 32bit) as the registry maintence part of the software seems to knock out part of the registry which controls email and internet resulting in error 651 & loss of being to log into Email and Outlet Express. I have contacted Iolo about the problem.
