    Exclamation Windows 7 intsallation

I am using a 64 bit processor so I need a minimum 2 GB RAM to install a 64-bit Windows 7 but the windows upgrade advisor tested my memory and found the It is equal 1.88 GB.
So the 1.88 GB RAM didn`t pass the minimum requirements for 64-bit Windows 7 (IT needs 2GB RAM minimum as Microsoft mentioned )
I want to know If I can Ignore this and install windows 7 64-Bit or I have to high up my RAM to exceed 2 GB first.
    Waiting to hear you advice,
    thanks a lot

I think you are close enough not to have a problem.

    I had another question .
Can I install the 32-bit windows 7 on a 64-bit processor as I have been using windows vista ultimate 32-bit on that processor and i had never faced any problem ?

    Yes.

    You can use either.

From experience the Windows 7 64 bit is very well in sync with current hardware and I would recommend it.

It is my understanding that any retail version of 7 will include both versions: 32 & 64.

I'm running Windows 7 RC1 32bit on a Dell Precision 370 64bit system and it works beautifully. I have 4GB of ram and will move to Windows 7 64bit when I get my retail package.
