Does CCleaner work with Win 7

I've used CCleaner with XP for a long time now. Does anyone know if it works with Windows 7 or even Vista?

I'm a bit leary of trying it.

I haven't had a problem with it. What I have had a problem with is TFC. It crashed 7 each time.

Hi Gang have just seen this post about CC Cleaner. As far as I can tell on 64 bit W7 it will only clean the 32 bit part of the OS as there is a layer of 32 bit to run 32 bit software included, but I do not think it toutches or recognises 64 bit part of W7.

You could try the CCleaner forum.

Yes, it works - though not yet officially. It does support 64-bit Vista. I suspect they will update their site in couple days.

You will find there are two IE options installed in Windows 7:

    32 & 64

You have the choice which to open.

I have not investigated the behavior of CCleaner on both but will test it when I get time.

It does however function fine on my 64 bit 7.
