Safe mode didn't work. I'm about to try a restore point and will let you know.

All of my restore points are gone. The last time I looked I had quite a few including a few from before my first attempt at installing the driver. Any other ideas? Do you know if creative has a removal tool and if so where? Should I do this in another thread?

S.B. Live! 24-bit. I had seen that site before but wasn't able to figure it out. Anyway I was able to find the most recent drivers however I get the same error.

The only thing that I can think of to do is to do a reinstall.

Go to the bottom of the page and choose Windows 7 in Manual Selection.

They have options for Windows 7 drivers.

Might also try the Automatic option.
