    Problem viewing in different browser......

I have created a simple page using 3D software and netscape composer. Before I present it on ebay, I wanted to test if it all looked okay in a different browser, so I uploaded it all to a free web host click here to see and checked it on two of my my mates' computers. When it loaded up, the text inside the tables were aligned left, and there was some slight adjustments to the general formatting of the bulk text on both the other computers. Also, my animated GIF wasn't working! I know that not all browsers read html the same as the next, but it's only a simple page with a bit of text, and a couple of tables and images for god's sake!! Incidentally, the page looks fine when pre-viewing in both MY netscape browser 7.1,and internet explorer 6 and when I click the web host's pre-view icon. Please help.......

    Hi,

What browsers are your mates using where it didn't display correctly?

Try this code. I copied yours and fixed the alignment errors and overlaps. If you want you can just copy it up to freeserve as another page and see if its better.

I tried the fix by simply copying and pasting it all back into composer, but it seemed to just mis-align all the text again. I have fixed it by placing the whole thing inside a table and centering the table. It all looks ok (i think) now, however except if viewing on anything smaller than a 17" screen. If using a 15" monitor, you get that nasty scroll bar at the bottom because it doesn't fit the screen :-(
Any clues how to fix this?Ta.

You need to set the table width at 100%. That way it should resize to any resolution or screen size.

Tackle the Web with $5.99 .COM's from Go Daddy!
In Mozilla 1.7 I see the difference of the logo background and table background. Make a transparent .gif from existing .gif - should look much better.
