Im learing simple coding from scratch and am building my first ever web site (very basic but nice enough)

One thing im stuck with is zoom. If i zoom in and out of a page in firefox or chrome then change pages, the newly loaded page is at a different zoom level. Basically if i adjust the zoom on every individual page they all remain at different zoom levels and need to be manualy reset

Now IE8 maintains the same zoom level for all of my pages.

Its only happening with my pages which are on my local drive, browse the web and all pages zoom properly.

could anybody point me in the right direction on this one?
