Okay, so I'm fairly new to all this.

A friend and I wish to set up a website that will have a forum for users to hold discussion
But also have an area where people are able to upload their works(stories) into a separate section - where other users can review and comment. I believe its something similar to what was called "usenet" but I'm just flying off of google on that one.

If someone can point me in the right direction where I can learn how I can integrate these two forms onto one website it would be greatly appreciated.
