Frontpage 2003 will not publish local to remote
I had to wipe my hard drive back in March. I backed up everything, including the local copy of my website. Since then, I have not been able to update my website. When I attempt to publish, I get the message saying that the update was successful, however, when I view my website, no changes have taken place. I am at a loss.

Make sure you do a hard refresh of the page because you are likely viewing a cached page. Press CTRL + F5 to do a hard refresh of the page.....

I actually cleared my cache using the "delete browsing history" in the IE tools section, and also using CCleaner. Then I did a publish where I told Frontpage to overwrite everything rather than just changed pages, and still no luck.

Forget it. I got it. Somehow, a copy of my index page was created, with an html rather than the standard htm extension added. I found it and deleted it, now I'm good to go.

I have done that more than once in the past as well! Glad you sorted it.

I have had the same problem just now! There was a new home page created which was called default.asp when mine was index.htm. I didn't realise for a while until I saw I had no page rank!!!! When I renamed the page back to index.htm I got my rank back.
But now when I open frontpage all the pages come up blank except for the borders.. I have to paste the html in to do anything...
I wish I could just move my page into wordpress or something but it is too big!
