    Arrow Query regarding SWF

    Hi all,

I use a WinXP machine to create SWF files using Adobe Captivate. I recorded this in 1280x1024.

Can this SWF file be fit in a smaller window, for example 800x600 as one of the embedded component of a different flash demo?

What is the best size to view an online flash demo if we create it in SWF?

Blimey, that's huuuuuge! What is your movie (swf)? Best to be under 400 px wide for a movie. Have I got the wrong end of the stick?

These are product demos for enterprise software... I used this resolution to get the best screen real estate. I have found out that 1280x1024 is the second largest resolution (by volume) used by ppl coming to our site.

If they're going on the internet you need to make them as small as possible file size wise and it needn't be any larger 'real estate' wise than a youtube video.

Can you tell me if I can use any method like HTML to resize it so that it becomes as small as you mentioned?

It can be any size you want it to be on the page but that wouldn't change the fact that it's still a huge file size. You'll need to resize the actual movie Out of interest, what file size is it in Mb?
