Can an administrator tell who has voted for what in a forum vote?
Does it depend on what software you use?

Hi guys
sorry to disappoint- i wasnt talking about my forum...!
i havent done one yet- one is near to completion (but my friend did most of it) - its a forum about sports- we are just trying to get some interest in it.
we submitted to google 3 weeks ago- but nothing showing.
Let's see the forum then![]()

Personally I would have started the board much smaller - it's kind of off-putting that there are so many empty forums. You could have grown as your membership grew. He'll love smf though, it's so modable.
Could have done something such as Motorsport, Field, Water, Football and then added subforums when required.
good point perhaps- thanks for your feedback
I agree totally with Karens point about the amount of forum categories. Everyone who starts a forum seems to completely understimate the effort, time and patience it takes to get it popular and busy. Having a huge amount of empty categories is a real turn off to potential posters because the board looks dead even if one or two areas have started getting busy. I would dramatically cut down the categories for now until you have some regulars.
That aside, nice work and best of luck with it![]()
