    Dreamweaver question- frames

Ok, so ive set up my first site- i have set it up using a templated frame thing...
so i have to save the left, top and center frames.

when i close it and then go back in to dreamweaver- how can i see the whole thing as one?
i can only seem to access each frame at a time...

Also- how can i access the dreamweaver pages other than opening d-weaver and then opening the item (i.e. can i double click on it somewhere). I ask this- as i can only see the frames as web browsers...

    thanks

I beseech you not to go down the frame route. Yes, use DW template facility, but not frames.

If your host has PHP use includes.

OK I confess, frames are a personal Bette Noir, but many others will attest they're not the best means to construct a site.

That aside. At this stage of the game I'd recommend using nested tables to create the header, side bar & footer. Later on, as you progress in the dark arts, you could use CSS for the purpose.

As I mentioned, if you can utilise PHP then includes are a great way to repeat page components like menus, links, etc.

I'd say frames are a big no-no too Tables as suggested are much better.
