Which Website Design Software??
Please could someone advise me if there is any software out there that might meet my needs. I am looking to build a website, whereby I need to allow customers to set up accounts on my website and to deposit money into these accounts. Then I need some pretty basic database stuff in there too. My computer knowledge is pretty limited and I cannot afford to pay the high fees to a website designer. Does anyone know of any software with which I could produce a preofessional looking website as well as meeting the above requirements.

I personally use Dreamweaver.. however, it's not just web design software you need, it's a knowledge for rolling out scripts on your website regarding accounts/money sending etc. Are you talking about members of your site sending donations or is it more than that.
You'll need to post a lot more detail for us to ascertain the kind of help you need.

If you'd prefer not to divulge this information publically, you can always private message me or email me

You're asking quite a bit. If you are trying to build any kind of online payment system, I would recommend to either use available services (paypal, perhaps?) or really leave the design to people that know a thing or two about it. If you need a custom solution, I am afraid there won-'t be any cheap way of getting it.

Are you trying to achieve something like a site I recently did for a business in Spain? This is the site www.orceserranohams.com
I used Dreamweaver to create the pages, Photoshop to do images and PayPal to provide Shopping Cart and payment facilities. It was simple to do but not if you are not experienced.
If you want to take payments on a site it does have to look clean and run smoothly.
I use Dreamweaver because I have it but a piece of software that would interest me if I did not have Dreamweaver would be Netscape Composer (http://wp.netscape.com/communicator/...4.0/index.html) - I believe it is free to use and you can download it for free. I could not find link but was in a hurry.
