I'm not sure where to post this so I'll start here.
I maintain a website for a small video club and I use Yahoo geocities.com because it's free and it's not too bad once you get over not being able to ftp!
Anyway, I was approached recently by someone who said they could sponsor my site for so much a month if I put their banner on it.
However, there's a catch, they only want to sponsor UK hosted sites.
Hence the question: Is there a sort of Yahoo Geocities equivant freebie on a UK host.
I've searched around and found a couple of sites but they are complete cr*p.
Anyone know of a good UK based free host please??

Thanks very much for the info.
It makes Yahoo's free site with only 15MB of space and lower traffic limit look decidedly downmarket!
It also looks like it would be a well-spent 99cents a month to have no ads.
