    Images not visible on page

    This is the webpage: http://www.aside.in/july05.htm
When I put it up the first time [ designed in Dreamweaver ], all images were clearly visible. Then I had to make some changes to the image on the top right corner and had to add some extra text, I did that, uploaded the changed image, uploaded the changed .htm file and never saw any of the images again!

This has happened on another 3 pages of the same website - the other pages are sliced in Photoshop and put together as html files in Dreamweaver. I have updated the pages earlier too and have never had a problem - this one time - all the new images that were added/uploaded/size changed have disappeared from view. No red x's or anything of that sort - I can't even see the placeholders for these images.

I am sure that when you see the page on your system, you will see all the images - but I don't understand why my system will not show them to me. I have cleaned the cache, cleaned the temp files, deleted cookies etc. - restarted the system - but nothing works - the website is viewed by many potential clients and I'm not even sure whether I'm showing them the right stuff.

BTW, the pages look fine when I open the HTML in Dreamweaver.

    Please help!
I have Windows XP, latest IE, all the Service Packs. Am I missing something?

    Best Regards,
    Naina

    Hi Naina,

I can see all the images in the site,
The problem in your browser might be that you need to Enable "show images" in internet options.

    Tools>internet options>Advanced-multimedia-show images

Check the show images and restart the IE.

    Just try this,

    Sangeeta,
    That wasn't the problem...
I solved some of it by changing the <a href> links from https to http and also the target="_blank" to target='_blank' Not all of the iamges are visible though. There are two other rollover images within the website which jus won't load... I've tried everything

    Thanks for your help!

They were gif files initially. Then I changed them to jpgs. Still the problem persists on a couple of pages...

have you tried using a diferent browser?
are the images on a folder in your computer?

I have tried IE and Firefox and the images are not visible on either.
The images are on a folder in my website's FTP, not on my computer - actually the problem's been solved. I changed the target="_blank" to target='_blank' and the images are all visible on my system now.
Macromedia Dreamweaver automatically assigns the target blank as target="_blank" with the double quotes.
