Question 1 Is there any difference between HTM and HTML?
Question 2 I have an old website that is well established and HTML based, I would like to convert it to XML but am wondering how existing customers will find the new site as the existing web address automatically takes them to the index.htm?
Question 3 Most of my old site has already been converted to XML/XLS etc., however all the onMouseover functions have been lost, how can I restore these?

No difference, but try to keep to one extension type otherwise you may find you have a ton of broken links where you linked to index.htm rather than index.html etc
Reason there is both is due to old versions of Windows not being able to recognise more than 3 characters in the extension name - hence .htm
