I click Publish in frontpage then I enter my website address to where I want it published then I hit the publish button on the other window and this error comes up.

"The server you are publishing to does not have the frontpage server installed, and therefore does not support publishing via HTTP. To continue publishing specify a location that will work with ftp."

Can anyone tell me what this mean and how I can publish my site.

Can you tell us who provides your web hosting? Basically whoever your web host is needs to have Frontpage extensions installed which they currently do not.

Contact whoever is hosting your site and get an ftp address to upload your files using an ftp program (one free in PCPlus this month). :-)

And...........A good free FTP program is Smart FTP - http://www.smartftp.com

So I just tell my web hosting guy to get me front page extention installed so I can upload the files??

Hey, well it depends what features in Frontpage you are using. If you use the hit counters and other features then your web server will need to have Frontpage Extensions installed to make those features work properly. Alternatively if you have just created a standard html page with tables, pictures etc then you could just upload the files using a free FTP program such as SmartFTP. All you would need is the ftp.yourdomain.com, username and password.
