Hi, looking for help, my Norton Internet security is about to run out and I wondered if any one can advise me on wether to stick with Norton or change to something else.
I resently had an infection which the guys from D-A-L cleaned up for me (thanks again) I now have Malwarebytes Anti Malware and Spyblaster installed. As Norton appeared to fail me last time a change to someone else may be good.

Since Windows 7 came out last year, I migrated all my systems (including 4 XP SP3 systems) to Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) and Windows Firewall and have no regrets. MSE includes an anti-spyware scanner so you can disable all your other real-time scanners. I still regularly perform supplemental scanning with MBAM but thus far, it has never found anything.

That said, the human is ALWAYS the weakest link. You must still keep your system updated and patched, and you must avoid risky practices such as visiting illegal porn and gambling sites, or participating in illegal filesharing via torrents and P2P sites, or opening attachments and downloads without first scanning for malware.
