Unhappy monitor reads no siginal need help

We had a power surge that ruined stuff in my compurter. So I had to replace stuff in it. I have replaced everything in it from power supply, cpu, hard drive. Everything powered up but my monitor reads no siginal. I didn't have this issue befor. I checked all the cable and my monitor everything seems to be ok no beep or anything fan running and all. I can remove my graph card because it is on board type. So I was wondering what do I do now to make it work thanks

How do you know your monitor (or graphics card) did not take a hit too? The first thing I always do with no display problems is swap monitors with another computer. If the problem stays with PC 1 using Monitor 2, you know the problem is with PC 1. If the problem moves to PC 2 using Monitor 1, you know the problem is with Monitor 1.

Also, you say "everything powered up" but how do you know? Understand that fans and drive motors run off +12VDC but the system also requires the PSU to provide +5VDC and +3.3VDC. So while it may appear that everything powered up, it may not have.

And you may aught to invest in a good UPS with AVR to prevent bad power from destroying your hardware in the future. A good UPS with AVR can deal with just about any power anomaly, except a direct lightning strike.
