I smiled when I read that Apple replaced or repaired any computers with this chip free of charge. But then a Apple consumer paid for it when they bought Apples Hardware to begin with.

Well the nVidia card on my Dell XPS M1710 was crapping out. It had been running fine on Vista and a demo version of Win7. Reinstalled a "full" version of Win7 on it and found that I did not have a proper display. For some reason the drivers did not install. Downloaded and installed the latest and greatest from nVidia and upon reboot the Laptop just hung after the Win7 splash screen. Went into Safe Mode and uninstalled driver...at least I can operate in VGA mode. Anyways since I still had 35 days left of full Dell warranty I got them to replace the card and voila I'm back in business. Man luckily I still had Dell Warranty at the time as the card cost $600.00 USD :/ One thing about Dell...I had never had any issue with Warranty.
