    Exclamation mysterious 'pop ups' (Resolved)

I only built this PC 2 weeks ago and since then i have only used it purely to download clean, virus checked game demos and to play games such as Halo. I have a Broadband connection and i know that things can come in through these sort of connections very easily e.g. hackings etc, but i have a fully activated security suite, Norton Internet Security 2004. The problem is strange however and i have had this with the laptop computer as well as this one.

At unpredictable intervals during the PC usage a dialog box comes up with the header ''Messenger Service'', then the content of the box can be one of a few things, either a message telling me about free spyware software and how my PC may be infected, or some dodgy explicit type dialog nothing like pictures or anything just text telling me to go to some pornographic website.

It is actually very annoying as i dont know what it is, when it popped up last i went to task manager and tracked its process code, finding it out to be a process called 'csrss.exe' then afta locating it i found it to be a file in the windows 'system 32' cache, and when trying to delete it says 'access denied' and informs me that it is an important system process.

I would like to know whether this is the exact thing that is causing these dialog boxes, and whether it is safe to delete this file from the system 32 cache, using a file shredder, as it is not working normally.

Sorry for the long thread, i figured this problem wont be understood without a bit of explaining.

    Thanks, awaiting a response.

yep, ive currentyly got Ad-aware, latest version. But the free version which i have doesnt actually block out spyware from entering it only scans and erases ones that have entered, but since i turned off the messenger 'service' the once mysterious pop-ups havent come up anymore.

So thanks, for your help, and 'puta-solutions'
