I have been suffering from the dreaded winpup32 and it is causing me no end of problems. I have also been having DNS problems during this time and have just noticed that any time I seem to try and access a page with a spyware remover on it I am refused entry/have DNS failure. Curious. I had to get a friend to download Bazooka and send me the file. Will try that and see if it does the trick.

Ok my woeful tale. Hope you can help.

I have Norton, Adaware and Spybot S & D installed. All cause a restart mid scan or cause my computer to hang. Occasionally they get far enough to identify the odd trojan or winpup 32.

I have repeatedly tried to get rid of this with the tools I have and I even tried the online Bitdefender scan but all cause the hang.

I have also been experienceing DNS probs like being refused access, not finding pages repeatedly then eventually letting you at them and also telling me connection was refused for normal everyday pages. This has been the case everytime I have tried to access spyware removal software pages. Could this be coincedental?

I had to get a friend to download bazooka for me as I couldn;t access the page and now I have it installed I can't get access to the online automatic update.

Any suggestions. I am all out of ideas... and energy.
