Browser hijack - Help Please!!!!
Hi,
I'm in desperate need of some advice. I seem to have picked up a browser hijaker, which redirects me when I use the internet.
It began about a week ago when a pop up appeared for an AV (I think it was the GreenAV), it subsequently went on to change my browser homepage and plague me with pop-ups and redirects to dodgy looking sites and browsers.
I've tried everything possible to get rid of this thing - AVG, Avast!, Panda Cloud, Spy-Bot, Malwarebytes but nothing seems to clear it up.
I'm really not very knowledgable about these things, but I would be extremely grateful if someone on here (with some patience) could offer me some help.
I've just tried to post my HT log here but everytime I try to do it I get disconnected from my server.
I'm in a bit of a mess.....please help

Please, download DDS from one of the 2 mirrors and save it to your desktop.
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
* Disable any script blocking protection (if present)
* Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
* When done, DDS will open two logs:
1. DDS.txt
2. Attach.txt
* Save both reports to your desktop by clicking File>Save As in each log.
Include the contents of both logs in your new topic. The scan will instruct you to post Attach.txt as an attachment. No need for that though ..... just post it's contents as you would any other log.
================================================== =========
Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
- Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
- Close any open browsers.
- Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
- Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
- Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
NOTE1. If Combofix asks you to install Recovery Console, please allow it.
NOTE 2. If Combofix asks you to update the program, always do so.
- Close any open browsers.
- WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
- Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
- If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.
- Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
- When finished, it will produce a report for you.
- Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt"
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**
Make sure, you re-enable your security programs, when you're done with Combofix.
DO NOT make any other changes to your computer (like installing programs, using other cleaning tools, etc.), until it's officially declared clean!!!

Hi Broni,
thanks for the reply. I'm sorry but last night I reached the end of my tether with my computer and was forced to make a system restore (probably not the best move I know) but I'm hoping the problem is now fixed.
I've reinstalled most of the stuff back on my computer and run a hijackthis log this morning. If I can post it then I'm hoping the problem has gone but I would be extremely grateful if someone on here could check through it to see if my computers healthy.
