Virus/Spyware keeps coming back
Below is a HiJack This log from a computer that was infected with XP AntiSpyware 2009. I've run Malewarebytes, Spybot and AdAware in addition to Avast Virus Scan, in Windows and Safe Mode yet I still get the browser hi jacked and cannot get rid of the following entries:
O4 HKLM|...|Run:[tedutigugu....
O4 HKLM\...\Run:[e05f8b47....
O4 HKLM\...\Run:[CPMe36cb8db...
O4 HKLS\S-1-5-19\..\Run:[tedutigug....
O4 HKLS\S-1-5-20\..\Run:[tedutigug....
O20-AppInit_DLLs: C:\Windows...Meyopoli.dll c:\windows...refobaju.dll
O21-SSODL _ {EC43E3FD-...} c:\windows...\refobaju.dll
O22-SharedTaskScheduler:STS -{EC43E3FD...}c:\windows...refobaju.dll
I've removed them in Safe Mode manually with regedit and HiJack this but on reboot they come back the next time I scan and save a log.
Additionally automatic updates keeps turning off and I can't access Windows Update. I get a blank page with Done in the status bar. I've been able to manually browse to Microsoft Update and download updates from there but none of the updates has cleared up this problem.
The computer keeps trying to load the jumidani.dll file on startup and throws an error message that the file is missing. Additionally I get a popup of the C:\Program Files\Common folder at Windows start up too.
Research on refobaju.dll, jumidani.dll has turned up nothing. I suspect this is something new.
Here is the entire HiJack This log:

Help with this would be highly appreciated.

The problem with the malware recurring is due to the 020_AppInit_DDLs:c:\Windows... meyopoli.dll c:\Windows... refobaju.dll entry.
AppInit_DDLs is a little used windows feature that loads .dll files very early in the boot process. Even if you've tried to unclick the entries in msconfig you'll find they are coming back too. First you'll need an anti-spyware program. If you don't have one I recommend Spybot-Seach and Destroy. http:\\www.spybot.com. Once it's downloaded open it and click "search for updates". Find an appropriate server and update Spybot.
You seem pretty tech savvy but I'm going to describe the process to remove you're malware at length in case some else might run into this post.
1. Once Spybot is loaded and updated reboot into safe mode.
2. Open msconfig ( goto- start- run- type msconfig and then enter) Once msconfig opens click the startup tab and unclick any unwanted entries. click "apply" then "close" and you will be prompted to reboot but choose the "exit without restart" option.
3. Open HijackThis. Click the "Delete a file on reboot" tab. This will delete the file before it has a chance to open itself.
4. Once it opens navigate to c:\Windows\System32. Select one of the files listed in your HijackThis log. Click the "open" tab and then choose "do not restart". You will have to repeat this process until all of the offending .dll files have been deleted.
5. Reboot into safe mode and run HijackThis again. Do a system scan and remove any other registry entries that may still be there.
6. Run Spybot and scan your system for malware. Once the scan is complete click "fix selected problems".
7. Reboot normally and you should be back in business!

I cured the problem but it took more than Spybot to fix it.

Was AppInit_DLLs the problem?
