How is your computer behaveing now?

I'm getting a popup every two hours or so, and it opens itself up in Internet Explorer, which is strange. I'm using Mozilla Firefox and IE isn't my default browser. It seems to open a web page relative to the current page. For example when I went to a gaming website it opened a popup advertising some computer gaming monitor, and when I was looking for laptop parts online it opened up a web page advertising a site selling computer parts.

Just now I got a popup advertising Norton and Mcafee while browsing this site.

I am pretty sure you still have some of this adware.mirar.

So I would like for you to reboot into safe mode and run MBAM from safe mode,

Safe Mode:


Now reboot into safe mode( without networking support) by tapping your F8 key upon restart and safe mode screen appears, select safe mode and press enter.

Let me know how things are doing after that.

I don't seem to be getting the popups anymore, but I'll wait a few hours an post again telling you if I get any.

The popups seem to have stopped, I think that did the trick. Thanks for all the help Neal.

Is there anything I should know about that was in any of the logs I posted or is my computer clean now?
