Hi guys,
A friend of my missus gave me a laptop that he claimed had a virus, this virus manifested itself shortly after the machine boots and claims to be an anti spyware program claiming that every file is infected and would not allow users to access any files or programs until the user paid for the software. On booting one time I managed to get avg open before the virus 'kicked in' it made a load of detections and the virus never started, i then updated all virus databases etc. and installed updates from ms, I then got Spybot and Adaware, scanned both programs found some things and claimed to have removed then. To be sure I thought I'd scan again and they found more things. Then I knew it was time to head over here with a HJT! log, any help completely removing this/these things would be appreciated.
On another note avg keeps popping up saying it finds some files in system restore, could someone tell me how to completely wipe all previous restore points and the files kept with them?

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and zLaunch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

This > O10 - Broken Internet access because of LSP provider 'c:\windows\system32\lspjuc.dll' missing

Needs to be fixed and here is how:


1.) Download WinSockFix. (by: Option^Explicit)
2.) UnZip WinsockFix.zip (Pay close attention to where the file is extracted to.)
3.) Run WinsockFix.exe.
4.) Click the Fix button and when done reboot your computer.

• Unzip it to a convenient place and run the program.
• If you see red text (‘Make Writeable?’) then press the ‘Make Writeable?’ BUTTON.
• Click ’Restore MS Hosts File’ BUTTON.
• You will be asked to confirm ’Press OK to Restore Microsofts original Hosts File’. Click ’OK’ BUTTON.
• Close the program.
