I've come across a pretty weird issue with all browsers on one particular machine.
When you navigate around you'll find that most links are not displayed at all (IE8) and sometimes the formatting of the page comes out extremely messed up (Firefox 3). At first I thought it was preventing CSS files from being displayed but some links and general layout appear.
I've tried upgrading IE from 7 to 8, installing the latest Firefox 3 and even tested Chrome so it looks like a computer issue. I ran Malwarebytes and McAfee, McAfee found Adware-180SA and quarantined it while Malwarebytes didn't find anything.
Googling around I found some people with similar issues due to corrupt Winsock settings so I downloaded WinsockXpFix and ran it with no fix to the problem.
I also ran a HijackThis log and didn't find anything obviously weird so I'm posting it just in case I'm missing something.
I'm attaching two screenshots, one of how the faulty browser displays the page and another one of how a regular browser displays it.
Sorry for the lengthy post I wanted to cover all the bases and thanks in advance for your time.
I'm not sure, if this is gonna cure your problem, but I see some infection...
