so i was going to a link to watch my family guy episodes. i go on this site regularly if not everyday. So, when i was typing in family guy, pop ups constantly got blocked and the blocked sound appears. After a few seconds, the computer shuts down properly. It restarted. I thought it was just adobe making me restart so i didn't mind it at first. After i logged in, it was running fine until a windows pop up showed up saying that warning spyware detected blah blah blah. 1 or 2 minutes later, it restarted the computer again. This time i got scared so i did what i always do. I logged in again and quickly clicked system restore. i restored it to nov. 1st and now the computer isn't restarting itself anymore. i just wanted somebody to help me get rid of it once and for all.

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and zLaunch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.


Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

I need a new hijackthis log and feed back on what is happening now please.


Please download and install the latest version of HijackThis v2.0.2:

CLICK HERE to download the HijackThis Installer:http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...HJTInstall.exe

1. Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
2. Double-click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
5. Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
7. Click on "Edit -> Select All" then click on "Edit -> Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
8. Come back here to this thread and paste the log in your next reply.
9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
