Im looking for a good protection program for my computer that is free and wont just be a scam that requires you to buy the program to clean what it found. Help Me If You Can!!!

The true nature of protection is to protect in real-time (always checking for and neutralizing issues at first point of contact). Many tools with such features will also be able to fix many such problems after the fact - often for FREE. But, often the process after-the-fact can be very complicated or incomplete.

A tool such as AVG8 provides good antivirus coverage and anti-malware coverage in real-time but leaves enough unaddressed (drive-by-download prevention) so that many may subsequently wish that they they had 'FULL PROTECTION'. Many of our requests for help can be systems with AVG8 showing that FREE is often not a complete solution nor can can any one tool be on its own.

Such a tool bundle can often get bloated over time, as well.


Remember - no one tool can ever be a complete or TIMELY solution. Only safe computing habits can insure the lowest possible incidence of potential problems.
