    look2me

Hi - AVG reports a warning message "adware.look2me" as a "potentially dangerous object@. The error occurs in the registry HKLM/system\currentcontrolset\enum\hdaudio then there is a long string.
However, AVG won't let me remove this warning even as a power user. Can you help as to why no other anti-virus software can find this same issue (I've tried seeral online) and how to permanently remove this warning. I've tried several look2me removal tools but to no avail.
    Many thanks.

Thank you for your response, but I do not feel this is the correct answer. I have a warning message for Look2me, I do not think I actually have the virus. No other anti-virus has picked up this issue, only AVG. Furthermore, even after reinstalling windows, I come up with the same error. I cannot wotk out why I get this warning. When I first tried all the look2me removal tools, they didn't find anything either. How can I get rid of the warning message since I do not feel that I have the virus?

    thanks.

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Visit this page below to familiarize yourself to the tool below and download from one of the links provided.

A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix

If you have previously downloaded ComboFix,please delete that version now.

It is IMPORTANT that it is saved directly to your desktop

    Close any open browsers.

    Disconnect from the Internet.

Please do not re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.

Disable your antivirus program and any realtime malware scanners and script blockers now

    How To Disable

Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.

When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.

    Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.

That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt unless I ask.

Re-enable your anti-virus and re-connect back to the internet and post the combofix log.
