When I booted up just now, svchost.exe was using 99% of CPU use for the first 2+ minutes. It started dropping exactly when svchost.exe I got the following wireless configuration error message:

"Notification dll has not been registered, program will not work correctly"
GENERAL SEARCH RESULTS:
"Notification dll has not been registered, program will not work correctly" - Google Search

As to the wireless 'problem': it looks like it's the wireless connection utility from Dell, and not the actual driver. If you remove the connection utility and set Windows to control your wifi connection, you should have no problems connecting and the error will be gone. Alternatively, you can remove the utility and drivers using Add/Remove Program, go to the Dell support site and download the needed driver/software and re-install it.

AVG Free contains basic antivirus protection (base level only).
What does base level mean?
The above makes it sound like only antivirus is realtime but the interface clearly can be checked and you can also determine that the very well regarded 'anti-spyware component is active'. The above wording really seems to leave you wanting more protection whether that is the intention or not.
