There are a lot of issues going on here. Symptoms include randomly shutting down, opening firefox windows but their blank no matter how many times i click the refresh button, extremely slow computer just all the time, o, and it (and by it, i mean my computer) will not let me put up a firewall. I have lots of virus protectors who in my opinion do nothing. I've deleted start page trojan 1505 many, many, many times to no avail. I think its a personal vendetta my computer has against me but i'd love to hear your opinion.

You have two (2) antivirus tools running at the same time - not a good situation (AVG and Norton). They will likely interfere with each other and/or cause major slowdowns. Please uninstall one of them.

Similarly, you appear to have multiple anti-spyware tools all potentially running in real-time (always on) - Windows Defender, SuperAntiSpyware, and TeaTimer.


Turn off Teatimer for now and one of the other tools (if real-time functionality duplication is applicable):

Disable Spybot S&D (Teatimer)

1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.

When disabled, please download ResetTeaTimer.bat
Double-click ResetTeaTimer.bat to remove all entries set by TeaTimer. This is done so it can be re-enabled without problems after cleaning.



Disable Windows Defender

• Open Windows Defender
• Click Tools
• Click General Settings
• Scroll down to Real Time Protection Options
• Uncheck Turn on Real Time Protection (recommended)
• Close Windows Defender

* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
• The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked , and click Remove Selected.
• When disinfection is completed , a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart(See Extra Note).
• A run log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs TAB in MBAM.
• Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
