Can someone please have a look at this log for me. Vista has done some weird things over the las 24 hours. i.e. Virus protection problems, etc.

This line below indicates you have some things turned off, anything I should know about like possibly malware:

How long have you had SP1 for Vista? Related to problems?




* Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from HERE or HERE

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and zLaunch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log.


Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

Click the "Open the Misc Tools" section Button.

Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.

Click the "Save list..." Button.

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents into your reply.


New hijackthis log please.

I don't know where to start.
My video capture card didnt work with vista so I bought a 'compatible' one - it doesn't work either.
Old wireless mouse didn't work so i bought a new one a Logitech G7 - it doesn't work.
Canon 400D all of a sudden isn't recognised when plugged into a USB.

Most of this has been a prob since SP1 I think.

Am just about to go back to XP Pro.

Please Help.
