I tried to download ccleaner but since I already had it on this computer from a year or two ago it will not let me do anything with it until I buy it. Since I am not able to do that right now, I must continue running avg and Malwarebytes daily, deleting items, updating often and so on. When I am able to buy it, I will carry on with your instructions. I have purchased the Malwarebytes.
Thanks for your help.
If there is another free program I can use instead please let me know.
Thanks.
It is indeed freeware:I tried to download ccleaner but since I already had it on this computer from a year or two ago it will not let me do anything with it until I buy it.

Sounds like your infection issues are not totally resolved. That could be creating issues for downloading tools such as CCleaner.Since I am not able to do that right now, I must continue running avg and Malwarebytes daily, deleting items, updating often and so on.
You should be providing us with you most recent scan results, comments, and your latest HijackThis LOG (also available with a tool to be used below) when problems are still unresolved. Do you use 'MSCONFIG' - do you know what that tool is? Not recommending that you use it but just asking.
Check to see if SDFIX still runs clean.
