Hi! In the title bar is what I have! I use Windows XP Pro, Firefox browser, and have Spysweeper, AVG, WinPatrol, Spyware Guard, Ad Aware 2007, Ccleaner, IOBit Smart Defrag, and of course HiJackThis. I dl'd/installed Spyware Doctor, but will soon be removing it.

Here's what happened:
I went to McAfee's SiteAdvisor to check on a free ecard site called mienet.net - SA said it was okay, and I have a Firefox add-on called WOT that also checks sites for reliability and potential problems.

HOWEVER! I went to mienet.net (DON'T DO IT, FOLKS!! IT'S POISONED!!)
No sooner had I arrived at the page, I got a pop-up warning saying I "should install Windows Trusted AntiVirus" that I had a HUGE problem and I better do it fast. Well, my momma didn't raise a fool, as they say! And I was born at night but NOT last night!

With all the precautions and safe-surfing, I still got hit! I dl'd and installed/ran Spyware Doctor (saw it at another forum) and it detected HiJacker.PeoplePC_Toolbar, indicating a medium threat. Of course, for X dollars they would remove it for me. And, alas, here I am...
