Hijackthis Log(RESOLVED)
Hello, and thanks to anyone who will be able to help me out!
Well it is now more than a month I am trying to get rid of advertising tabs opening in IE and Firefox all time long whilst I am on the web...I've tried almost everything, which means I've scaned my system with several anti-spyware, made online scans, change my antivirus from mc afee to trend micro thinking it might be better but no, nothing seams to find out where those awfull ads displayed on my system come from...
At first I thought it was from a software I've dowloaded a few months ago, Webmediaplayer....so I try to find a good antispyware which could remove it, but I didn't, so I've desinstalled it myself. but the problem was still here.
I did a last virus scan which is fine, spybot S&D doesn't find any issue relating to this problem, so I am hopefull you guys can be of some help. One thing is, I found out when those ads try to open, in the redirection is written "tradedoubler". I then found out tradedoubler is a nasty online advertising company offering targeted advertising for their customers and other stuff like this, so that might be the problem.
Here is the Hijackthis log:

Please uninstall [b]Mywebsearch]/b] from add/remove program if present
Reboot
You have Spy Hunter security suite, does that include an anti-virus program and a firewall?
You also have mcafee which is anti-virus and firewall!!!
You should never have more then one anti-virus and firewall running at the same time.
If you do have more then one anti-virus program and firewall running at the same time please stop one anti-virus and one firewall and uninstall that please, it will make your computer more secure and faster if you do.
You have programs that will interfer with the fix below so...
1. Open Spysweeper and click on Options > Program Options and uncheck "load at windows startup".
2. On the left click "shields" and then uncheck everything there.
3. Uncheck "home page shield".
4. Uncheck "automatically restore default without notification".
5. Exit the program.
Disable Spy Hunter security suite, not sure how it very well may cause hijackthis fix to fail below.
Run hijackthis and click on "scan system only" button and put checks next to these:
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch =

Please close ALL browser windows (including this one).
Everything closed out but hijackthis and click on "fix checked"
Now reboot into safe mode by tapping your F8 key upon restart and safe mode screen appears, select safe mode and press enter.
Navigate to these files or folders using Windows Explorer (OR Start -> Search) and delete (if present):
DELETE FILES:
c:\users\frederic\appdata\local\dqaythfub.exe dqaythfub
DELETE FOLDERS
C:\PROGRAM FILES\MYWEBSEARCH
Reboot your PC and post a new hijackthis log and tell me how things are now please.

Hi,
Everything done as you said...and everything seams to work fine now, at last!
This is the 1st time I get some help from a forum and to be very honest, I didn't think it would be so helpful! I can't beleive how easily ****y little spying softwares can bypass antivirus protection and firewall to install themself everywhere on a pc.
Thanks again, donation made.
If I were to need your help again sometimes I would for sure not hesitate to ask you!

RegProtect
This small registry protection tool will save you hours of heartache by notifying you when some program good or bad is trying to access your registry.
You have the option of allowing(good) items or blocking(bad)items.

To reduce the re-infection potential for malware and protect yourself against spyware, here are a few helpful suggestions:
1. Keep Windows and Internet Explorer current with the latest critical security updates from Microsoft. This will patch many of the security holes through which attackers can gain access to your computer. You CANNOT complete this update using an alternate browser.
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.co....aspx?ln=en-us
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp
2. Run your antivirus software regularly, and to keep its definitions up-to-date. If you are thinking about switching, there are a some good free Antivirus programs that are decent, including AVG and Avast!.
AVG: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
3. In addtion to using Ad-aware consider using another free malware scanning/removal program:
Windows Defender
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx
4. Consider using a free firewall if you are not already using one. Some good free ones are:
Kerio
Sunbelt
Comodo Personal Firewall:
Comodo
5. Consider using an alternate free browser for general web surfing but you must use IE for windows update.
Mozilla Firefox: www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
6. Consider increasing your browser security by using these programs:
SpywareGuard will protect your homepage from being hijacked: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html
SpywareBlaster will increase browser protection by blocking Thousands of known malware sites by adding them to IE's restricted sites zone. Download it here:
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
If you use SpywareBlaster, you can also use a customblocklist to add even more entries into IE restricted sites zone. Go to this site for the current list and how to use instructions: http://customblockinglist.cjb.net/
IE-SPYAD is similar in that it adds thousands more known malware sites to IE's restricted zone. Download it here:
https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm
Block access to Untrustworthy Sites
You can prevent your computer from visiting a myriad of untrustworthy sites and ad-servers by installing a customised hosts file. One of the best available is the: MVPS Hosts File. Simply follow the instructions to install the file in the correct location. This will not only make surfing safer but will improve website load times and block popups from many of the large ad-servers.
*Remember just like your primary anti-virus software, it is important to keep all of these programs up-to-date and use them on a regular basis. It's Free
