Hello Everyone,

My computer has recently become extremely slow and I believe that ive contracted some kind of spyware/malware or virus. I ran a variety of programs but nothing much was found.

Having added a second real-time (always on) anti-virus tool has created or will make your slowdown issues even worse. You need to uninstall one of your anti-virus tools - AVG if you want to keep Norton and NIS.



Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

1. Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
2. Click the Scan for Vundo button.
3. Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
4. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
5. Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
6. When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
7. Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Tell us how your PC is now doing. There will normally be, at least, some additional cleanup steps that will need to be done.
