    Fix these with hijackthis:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {BC4FFE41-DE9F-46fa-B455-AAD49B9F9938} - (no file)

    O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - ?p=ZJfox000

    Everything closed but hijackthis and click fix.

    Reboot and post the last hijackthis log please, if all is well with this one.

    Thanks.

    hi neal,am really shocked that those were the only problems in the last two accounts we looked at.or is it some of the first stuff we did affected all the user accounts.any way this next hijack log is from my youngest daughters account.she is allways on the net and has downloaded some real rubbish,but i think i have got rid of some stuff as she down loaded it.but this account is the one i was most bothered about (as well as the first one you looked at).so here is the hijack log...Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

    Since you are concerned about this account let's run an online scan and see what turns up if anything.

    Go here BitDefender and run an online scan with BitDefender (you will need to use Internet Explorer for this scan). When the ActiveX Control has loaded, click on "Click here to scan" and grab a coffee.

    When BitDefender completes the scan, select the "Detected Problems" tab. Click on "Click here to export scan". Save the file as an HTML to your Desktop. Then click on the saved file and allow it to open with your browser. Go to Edit - Select All then copy/paste that log back here. Post back and let us know what it found (post the log).

    And post a new HJT log also..

    It's up to you if you want to run the scan again, or you can run a faster scan I believe over this one or the other one.

    If all seems ok maybe not needed then your call.

    Here is a scan that is probably faster if you want:

    Go HERE to run an online scannner from ESET.

    * Note: You will need to use Internet explorer for this scan
    * Tick the box next to YES, I accept the Terms of Use.
    * Click Start
    * When asked, allow the activex control to install
    * Click Start
    * Check next options: Remove found threats and Scan unwanted applications.
    * Click Scan
    * Wait for the scan to finish
    * Use notepad to open the logfile located at C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
    * Copy and paste that log in your next reply and also let me know how things are now.

    I just did this scan on my PC and took about an hour. I will run an online scan somewhere on my PC about every 30 days just to make sure I have a different opinion then my current anti-virus program I have(AVG).

    hi neal,i am going to run the scan again.but before i do i wanted to ask something.when i ran the last scan and it got near the end of running the scan.little avg boxes kept opening up.they would say avg had found something and what did i want to do.i kept pressing heal.it would do that but then within a second another box opened up.this happened about 10\15 times it only stopped after i pressed nothing, it disappeared and another one did not appear.what i wanted to no was that normal and should i choose to heal or just get rid of whatever it is.thanks from yabs
