I have swapped my two hard drives and have a "fresh" system running on the new C: drive. I can also access my files on the old C: drive (which is now called F: - I guess the system decided to assign D: and E: to my two CD drives, since the old hard drive wasn't connected at first).

Everything looks great now, so I guess we can call this RESOLVED.
