Hallo

My computer has just done its AVG Free daily scan and my word has it had a ball! It kept popping up with viruses etc some of which it healed the rest are residing in the Virus Vault:

Virus Exploit, Trojan horse generic9.BFS (this shows up 6 times), Downloader Obfuskated (this shows up 3 times).

I have Windows XP SP2, AVG Free, Zone Alarm, Spybot Search and Destroy, Spyware Doctor and Ad-Aware - all of which are up to date and do regular scheduled scans.

Logs are clean, maybe AVG did it's intended job.

How is your PC behaving?

Does AVG still detect anything?

Anything in the vault is harmless there and can be deleted.

Thanks for advice - AVG scan did not show up anything untoward and I have deleted everything from the Virus Vault.

Computer was crashing a lot just before the scan showed problems so I will watch it over the w/e and see if all is well now

Keep us posted, crashes are sometimes hard to diagnose, possibly a hard drive problem.
