You need to get rid of one of your anti-virus programs, Symantec or Avast!! Symantec is a resource hog.

In case you decide to uninstall Symantec here is an uninstaller that will do the best job as Symantec is known for leaveing a lot of baggage behind if uninstalled thru
add/remove program.

Thank you for responding. I removed symantec and ran the clean junk files, and both were successful. I went to download and the same thing happened, it is taking forever to download, say 1% a minute. Any ideas?

I would check with your internet service provider as to speeds you are recieveing.
