UPDATE as of 6:30pm EST-on 12/26:

My system keeps re-starting and re-starting ...and does not get me to the Windows XP log on.
I can't access any screens, as the PC keeps rebooting.
Problems are getting worse.

Might post another Hijackthis log as the one you posted has a trojan in it.

System keeps rebooting over and over and over.
I only can get to the windows xp logo and then it reboots.

I get the blue screen with no causes for the problem.

If it reboots continuously then there isn't much I can do for you. If you have the discs that came with the PC then take it to a local shop, they may have to re-install/reformat.

Can you post a hijackthis log?

Can you boot in safe mode?

If I was going to guess I would say the power supply is failing.

I was able to do a clean install of XP Home....which took care of most issues.

However, when I am re-starting PC, it does not read/acknowledge my DVD burner.

It only recognizes it when I shut system down completely and then push "on" button...not when I select to restart.
