i have just had a screen pop up on my computer but it was in a different language to what i speak can any body help the screen said

what is this all about and should i be woried.
Is it some sort of virus spyware etc.

the message was a fake popup window that was installed with some free software i was trying out and actually says.

in 24 hours your computer will be infected with an extremely bad virus that will wipe your hard drives and can not be uninstalled.
ha ha have fun
