Hey everyone,

After reading numerous threads already posted, I think that my computer is infected with some form of trojan. I ran AVG and it detected trojans named "keenval.2".

How do you rid a computer of these guyus and could this be the reason why after using one application, say Explorer, no other applications seem to launch and I get error messages??

Run an AV scan here. http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

Then you might want to download Hijack this from my signature, follow directions and post the log in a new thread.

I managed to run the first scan at http://www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.php and it found "mysearch" But I was unable to run the two subsequent scans as everytime time I clicked on them, a new fresh window outline would pop up but there would be nothing inside it, then explorer would close itself.

Please advise further

Ive managed to fix all the problems currently existing on my PC that I am aware of. I also downloaded a 30 day trial version of RegSupreme which brilliantly cleaned up my registry, so my PC is running like it should.
