When I open internet explorer it takes a long time to find my homepage, sometimes it will just say "internet explorer cannot find this page", it's like my internet connection were down but it's not, sometimes it will be working and then the next page I go to will not load up and then I can't surf the internet anymore, if it does work it takes a long time to open the next page, sometimes it helps if I close the internet window and repair my network connection, it also helps if I leave it alone for awhile and come back and try it again, if I keep trying over and over again eventually I can get my homepage to come up

You are using wireless, right? Such problems can be very difficult to isolate. I also have a wireless connection that seems to get unreliable around 16:30 - 18:00 for unknown reasons. I often need to reset the router around that time and then there are no more problems. Often such problems can be due to transmission interference patterns which can change at nearly predictable times during the day. Also, making sure that you have the latest driver software installed to ensure the most optimal reliability possible.


Also, is your PC acting as P2P server in any way? How much RAM memory does your PC have?

Install Options:

Run CCleaner in SAFE MODE (reboot tapping the F8 key after the beep).

Select the ‘Options’ BUTTON option (top LEFT), ‘Advanced’ BUTTON, and then UNCHECK the ‘Only delete files in Windows Temp Folders older than 48 hours’ (often, the latest download traffic could be the bearer of bad content – RESET back to default after this particular cleaning).

Select the ‘Cleaner’ BUTTON option (top LEFT), if not already selected. Use the ’Windows’ TAB up front by default.
