I recently got a virus in which i turned on my computer and my desktop was larger than my screen. I can actually move my cursor over past my screen. many of my desktop icons are off the visible part of the desktop as well. I can actually blindly move them back to visible desktop space. Whenever i open a window the window opens where i cant see it(off the visible part of my destop that the screen shows me). It isn't my resolution because all of my icons are the smae size as they used to be. Has anybody heard of a virus like this? I would appreciate any help.

It is more likely that your screen resolution has changed from something like 1280x1024 down to 640x480. Accordingly, items on the edge of the screen would then become so large so as to now appear off the screen. See if you can go to a higher screen resolution to resolve your issues (generally no larger than 1280x1024 or 800x600):
